Catastrophe Response and Restoration

In the aftermath of catastrophic weather events, the visible destruction is often just one small part of a much larger problem. The hidden dangers beneath the building surfaces can complicate the recovery process. This is where the expertise of an on-site industrial hygienist can help, offering more than just visual assessments – they provide peace of mind for property owners and restoration teams. SRP has the industry knowledge and resources necessary to provide you with the options to handle any projects that come your way.

With over 20 locations strategically located across the United States, teams can mobilize quickly to help you and your clients minimize losses and maintain business continuity. SRP Industrial Hygienists have over 25 years of experience in catastrophe response support services, with successful project management experience with large complex, multi-disciplined projects.

The SRP Environmental Asbestos Division has over 50 years of experience and can assist with Investigations, Project Design, Project Management, Air Monitoring, and Asbestos Management Plans.

The quality of air inside offices, schools, and other workplaces is important not only for workers’ comfort but also for their health. As an environmental consulting firm, SRP Environmental can inspect the location for potential areas of hazard and our expert Industrial Hygiene team can perform the components of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) “Testing for Indoor Air Quality 01 81 09.”

Lead overexposure is one of the most common overexposures found in industry and is a leading cause of workplace illness and a major public health risk. Our experts will conduct a lead-paint survey and assist with the remediation process.

Due to an immediate necessity of services following a water intrusion event, SRP’s Catastrophe Response Team is on-call at all times to provide assistance in the onset of a flood. For each loss, SRP Environmental, LLC provides adequate numbers of industrial hygienists and field technicians trained to collect moisture-retention data through invasive, non-invasive, and thermographic techniques.

SRP Environmental, LLC’s engineers, geologists and environmental scientists conduct an overall analysis of the property and structures to identify areas of potential structural and/or environmental concern. Should this assessment identify areas of concern, plans of action will be developed to mitigate risk and liability by reducing the overall impact of each hazard and quickly remediating affected areas.

SRP Environmental LLC works with the client at the onset of a water-related loss to identify the category of water, determine the affected areas/materials, and identify potential health and safety risks. In the event that written protocols are necessary, SRP Environmental LLC rapidly produces a workable Scope of Work with technical specifications for water damage clean up.

Based on a mold and/or water damage assessment, we develop a customized remediation plan outlining the specific protocols to effectively remove contaminated building materials. This plan considers the type of mold and bacteria present, the affected surfaces, and the potential health risks.

Combustion by-product sampling is conducted following fire damage or smoke damage.

We understand that the aftermath of a fire can be overwhelming, and our dedicated team is here to provide expert guidance and support during this challenging time.
