California Compliance: Heat Illness Regulation Changes

Cal/OSHA has recently updated the law pertaining to heat illness regulations for California. Employers are now required to train employees on additional heat-related hazards and how to respond appropriately should heat illness develop. The rules surrounding water, cool-down, shade, rest requirements, and program management at certain temperature thresholds have also changed. Employers are also required to update their emergency response procedures.
