ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a consultant to clients in the areas of Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Compliance and Safety Compliance. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Essential Job Functions

• – Serve as Site Safety and Health Officer as requested by clients
• – Conduct site evaluations/hazard assessments
• – Train clients in health, safety, and environmental management
• – Conduct OSHA and environmental compliance audits
• – Conduct incident investigations
• – Develop health, safety, and environmental programs
• – Interpret standards and codes

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• – Training Certifications in CSP/ASP, CPR, USACE EM 385-1, OSHA 500/511, Asbestos O&M, OSHA 30,
  HAZWOPER 40, heavy equipment
• – BS or equivalent experience in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or related field
• – Two to five years in a health and/or safety position requiring OSHA and environmental compliance knowledge.
• – Organizational skills to allow the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
• – High level of motivation/Self-starter
• – Willing to work night shifts as needed
• – Ability to travel
• – Familiarity with Microsoft Suite & Google Suite products
• – Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• – Maintain confidentiality of all work information
• – Leadership skills
• – Good communication skills
