RigPass (SafeLand): SRP Environmental’s IADC Accredited and SafeLand USA Endorsed Rig Pass course is designed to ensure that all employees on oil and gas sites have an equal level of core HSE training as a part of their orientation. The Rig Pass course is usually completed in a one-day, eight-hour class. After successful completion of the course, each student is given a unique id card and bar code which allows access to most prime contractor oil and gas sites. The training is intended for new employees, but every employee regardless of time of service is required to possess a valid Rig Pass card. This class is a one-time requirement, refresher training is not necessary.
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S): Hydrogen Sulfide leaks from the ground due to decaying organic matter and can be deadly. Know the signs and symptoms of H2S to protect yourself and others as well as learning precautions when the possibility of working around H2S happens.
HazCom – GHS Hazardous Communication: Hazardous substances in the workplace, in some forms and concentrations, pose potential health hazards to employees who are exposed to these substances. Departments and employees have a right and a need to know the properties and potential hazards of substances to which they may be exposed. Such knowledge is essential in reducing the incidence of occupational disease. By attending this training, SRP can assist departments in complying with your company Hazard Communication Program requirements. These requirements include labeling, Material Safety Data sheets, employee information and training, and record keeping. This program is delivered in one- two hour session
