Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S): Hydrogen Sulfide leaks from the ground due to decaying organic matter and can be deadly. Know the signs and symptoms of H2S to protect yourself and others as well as learning precautions when working around H2S.

HazCom – GHS Hazardous Communication: Hazardous substances in the workplace, in some forms and concentrations, pose potential health hazards to employees who are exposed to these substances. Departments and employees have a right and a need to know the properties and potential hazards of substances to which they may be exposed. Such knowledge is essential in reducing the incidence of occupational disease. By attending this training, SRP can assist departments in complying with your company Hazard Communication Program requirements. These requirements include labeling, Material Safety Data sheets, employee information and training, and record keeping. This program is delivered in one- two hour session

First Aid / CPR: Students completing these courses will receive certification through the American Red Cross in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).  The First Aid course will include basic tips on treatment of minor wounds such as cuts, insect bites, sprains and strains. The CPR class will include training on resuscitation of victims who are not breathing and/or have no heartbeat.  Use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) will also be discussed. This program is delivered in two-four hour sessions.

Forklift Safety: This course provides participants a general understanding of the safe and efficient operation of an Industrial Powered Fork Truck, to help companies comply with OSHA regulations. Forklift certification will teach participants / employees how to identify specific health and safety hazards associated with operating a powered industrial lift truck.  The Powered Industrial Trucks used by the client will be used for the training.  This program is delivered in one- four hour session.

Man Lift: When operating machinery, you must have an awareness of the area around you, the people working nearby, the path you must travel, and the material you may be transporting.  You must wear the correct personal protective equipment and know how to care for it.  You may need to be certified to work on a lift.  Learn the proper safety techniques and procedures to help yourself and those you work with.
