First Aid CPR
Students completing these courses will receive certification through the American Red Cross in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The First Aid course will include basic tips on treatment of minor wounds such as cuts, insect bites, sprains and strains. The CPR class will include training on resuscitation of victims who are not breathing and/or have no heartbeat. Use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) will also be discussed. This program is delivered in two-four hour sessions.
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)
Hydrogen Sulfide leaks from the ground due to decaying organic matter and can be deadly. Know the signs and symptoms of H2S to protect yourself and others as well as learning precautions when the possibility of working around H2S happens.
